SamoPles Dance Challenge
A competition focused on quality rather than quantity, with a smaller selection of categories and dance styles, promoting healthy competition and a supportive atmosphere between dance teams.
Participation certificate for every dancer
Medals and a trophy for all groups placing in the Top 3
Judges' scores and written comments will be available to choreographers after the competition
Award ceremony conducted in performance order: all participants receive their diplomas first, followed by the announcement of the Top 3 choreographies on the winners' podium, with placements displayed on the big screen
The competition is divided by age across two days:
Saturday: dancers aged 4–12
Sunday: junior and senior dancers 13+
The competition schedule begins with Solo, Duo/Trio, and Small Groups, followed by Groups and Formations.
Stage Information
Stage dimensions: 14 m wide × 12 m deep
Professional dance floor
Dancers will have access to two side entrances (one on each side) and a backstage crossover behind the stage.

Competition for Solo, Duo/Trio, Small Groups (4–7 dancers), Groups (8+ dancers), Formations (16+ dancers), and Productions (30+ dancers) in selected dance styles for the following age categories:
Focus: The competition emphasizes quality, fewer categories and dance styles, and healthy competition with friendly support among groups.
Awards: Certificates for all dancers, medals, and trophies for the top 3 placed groups.
Judges' Feedback: Points and comments from the judges will be available to choreographers after the competition.
Results Announcement: In the order of performance, with results displayed on a large screen.
MINI Gala: Presentation of the best choreographies

Competition continues at Sports Hall Samobor.
The stage dimensions are 14 m width x 12 m depth, dancing on a dance floor.
Dancers will have two lanes on each side and a passage behind the stage.
EVALUATION METHOD
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 ARE RANKED ACCORDING TO THE JUDGES' FESTIVAL RATINGS
SCORES ARE GIVEN ON A SCALE OF 1-10 BY THREE JUDGES; THE TOTAL SCORE IS CALCULATED BY SUMMING THESE SCORES AND DETERMINES THE PLACEMENT.
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION INCLUDE: TECHNIQUE, CHOREOGRAPHY AND MUSICALITY, GROUP COORDINATION, AND OVERALL IMPRESSION.

FOR THE PRODUCTION NUMBER CATEGORY, THE DURATION IS UP TO 4:30 FOR BOTH GROUPS AND FORMATIONS.
THERE IS NO PRODUCTION CATEGORY FOR SMALL GROUPS.

Age categories are determined based on the age of the dancers on the day of the competition. A maximum of 25% of registered dancers may deviate from the specified age parameters. Dancers who are older by more than 2 years than the specified age parameters cannot register in the younger age category with younger dancers, but it is possible to register the entire group in the older category.

RULES
- Strictly adhere to the specified time limit for your choreography.
- Be backstage and ready to perform at least 20 minutes before your scheduled performance.
- Please follow the competition schedule carefully. If any timetable changes occur, you may be required to perform earlier than originally scheduled. If you are not present when your performance is called, your routine will be skipped.
- Fire, pyrotechnics, and all flammable materials are strictly prohibited on stage. Performers are also responsible for leaving the stage clean after their performance.
- In the event of any issue or concern, please report immediately to the registration/scoring desk and contact the event organizer.
- Approaching the judges' table or communicating with the judges is not permitted.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate sanctions.
- A positive atmosphere is encouraged. We welcome good energy, mutual respect, and the opportunity to meet and connect with other clubs and participants.
- In the event of a competitor's injury, notify the organizer immediately so that appropriate medical assistance can be provided as quickly as possible.
- Judges reserve the right to deduct points if a routine has been entered in an incorrect category, lacks the required technical elements of the declared dance style, demonstrates movement quality inconsistent with that style, or for other category-related discrepancies.
- Coaches may not demonstrate choreography to dancers while they are on stage. All age groups must be able to perform their choreography independently, without assistance from coaches on or in front of the stage.
- Judges may deduct points for inappropriate costumes, age-inappropriate movements, unsportsmanlike behaviour, or for leaving props or costume pieces on the stage, as these may present a safety hazard to performers appearing next.
